Rhodes, William John, 84, a longtime resident of Ferndale, passed away Friday, March 12, 2010 in the company of his loving family. He was born May 19, 1925 in Detroit to John and Esther Rhodes. Mr. Rhodes was owner and President of Rhodes Welding Co., the family business that he and his wife, JoAnne, started shortly after they were married. Surviving are his children, Kathy (Steve) Brady of Marquette and James of Clawson; 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Predeceased by wife, JoAnne, whom he married August 25, 1951 in Ferndale; his parents and daughter, Marjorie Rhodes.
